Energy Tapping, EFT, Ideomotor Questioning, Ideomotor Chart

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT is a simplified version of energy tapping. In their book Energy Tapping, Fred P. Gallo and Harry Vincenzi explain how to alleviate physical and emotional pain, addictions, disruptive relationships, and much, much more by using methods of tapping on some of your meridian points. The tapping methods are somehow able to eliminate dysfunctional imprints. How wonderful does that sound? To learn EFT, you won’t need the Energy Tapping book, but you will need to get your free EFT Manual. The free manual has all the information you need on energy tapping to deal with most health problems. The beauty of the EFT energy tapping variant is that many implementation problems are eliminated by streamlining the method into an easy-to-learn technique. There are ways to reduce the amount of time spent on each session, but this requires more learning. For this, there are DVD’s available which show both shortcuts, and specific situations. For most people, the free manual is more than adequate.
Despite the great usefulness of EFT, it’s often necessary to identify the actual source of an ailment, before EFT will correct the problem. This is where ideomotor questioning becomes very valuable. If you haven’t already done so, read about ideomotor questioning. Occasionally, just finding out the cause of a problem will alleviate it – catharsis can be very powerful.
When using the ideomotor questioning, try to drill in on the actual cause of the problem you’re trying to solve. Use your imagination when asking questions of your subconscious. Ask your hidden mind what imprints, if any, are causing the problem. Find out how many there are. Number the imprints so that you can ask questions about them. It’s good to ask some general questions, but most questions should be specific. For instance, if you ask if there are any imprints that cause you to be unhappy, your subconscious will likely not identify all such imprints because it isn’t good at generalizing the specific issues.
Often times, and especially when you first start using EFT, you will have to get very specific information before the technique will eliminate a problem. When questioning your subconscious, get information such as when each dysfunctional imprint was formed, did it originate from something you heard, something you saw, or something you thought. If it was from something you heard or saw, find out where you heard it, and from whom. Don’t forget to consider that you may have heard something on the radio or TV. After your mind is a little bit used to EFT, ask it whether you need more information in order to get rid of the imprints. In other words, not only ask about the imprints, but also ask about the process itself. With a little experience, you will probably find that you need less and less information in order to get rid of imprints. If there are too many imprints involved to get specific information about each one, ask your subconscious if you can deal with them all at once. If so, place a name on the group of imprints, such as Group A. Then when you’re doing the EFT, just refer to the imprints as Group A.
It’s good to ask many questions when trying to find the source of a problem. Because of the way the subconscious works, it doesn’t always associate the cause with the problem. It may also be evasive, especially if repressed emotions are the source. In other words, your subconscious may not want you to know the source of the problem. So, if you ask pointed questions, you’ll have better success. And, ask questions about anxiety, anger and fear. If your subconscious fingers a particular source, just keep asking about other possible causes. You may find that it reconsiders when confronted with the actual cause.
If you eliminate all of the imprints that you find out about, the problem may still persist. Your subconscious will not always immediately tell you about all of the imprints involved. If you cannot eliminate the problem right away, just keep using EFT on it everyday or so, as this will often lead to more productive questioning sessions. Sometimes, all that’s needed to eliminate a problem, even a very serious one, is just one session of EFT. Most of the time, though, it takes some work. And, some problems will not yield to the treatments.
At the very least, even if you don’t have any serious problems, eliminate animosities that you have toward others, even if they are no longer alive. And, work on any embarrassing episodes that you’ve had. In general, just clean out those cobwebs.
